“Fish Fingers and Custard Day ” celebrates the scene in the Doctor Who episode‘Eleventh Hour’, where the Doctor finds out what food his 11th incarnation eats.
In 2012 the BBC decided to coin 3rd April as “Official Fish Fingers And Custard Day“.
Therefore this day is now an official holiday for all fans of Doctor Who.
Eating fish fingers with custard is optional because we have human bodies instead of Gallifreyan bodies.
But trying it is encouraged…
