For the first time in 3 years the Beatles decided to do a live concert again.
It was decided to keep it small and local. And it couldn’t get more local than to perform on the rooftop of their recording studio in the Apple Corps headquarters.
The Beatles would record their last album “Abby Road” later in that year until they were legally disbanded in 1970.
The Rooftop Concert is seen by fans as a symbol of the end of the Beatles era.
