The bloody mary drink is one of the most popular hangover cures for a reason.
First there is the hair of the dog that bit you. Alcohol in the form of vodka, one of the most refined distilled alcohol drinks.
Second there is the tomato juice that both hydrates you, but also nourishes you.

Even if you don’t drink alcohol, the virgin mary cocktail (alcohol free) can be tasty to enjoy.
Pour a glass of tomato juice.
Add a dash of worcestershire sauce, a splash of fresh lemon juice and some celery salt.
Spice to taste with tabasco sauce and some ground black pepper.
For the frivolous adventurous variations:
add as many savory food items as garnish as the glass can hold
