Now, some may argue that chocolate and caramel don’t belong together but those people clearly haven’t tried chocolate caramel which is even messier than regular chocolate or caramel, which is half the fun!
But be warned, not all caramel is created equal!
Don’t confuse it with toffee or other similar candies. That would just be sacrilegious on this holy day.

Some say that Chocolate Caramel Day commemorates the happy accident when a chocolate and caramel factory exploded and the two candies fused together.
Other people are more suspicious, and maybe more realistic, and speculate that Big Chocolate wouldn’t want to miss yet another chance of creating a holiday to freely advertise their addicting goods.
Regardless, we’re happy to celebrate this delicious holiday!
