It’s the day after New Year’s Day, and many people might have indulged in a little too much rich and heavy foods, so it’s the perfect day to enjoy something a little lighter and fluffier, like a cream puff!
Plus, the start of a new year is always a great time to “rise” to new challenges, and what better way to do that than with a “puff” of cream?
Both the dough crust and the whipped cream filling are both known to be mostly air, so it’s mostly made of an ingredient void of any calories at all!
And, let’s be real, cream puffs are just plain “dough-licious”!
