Herbs & Spices Day has been spicing up our lives since at least 2006, but I suspect it’s been sprinkled into our lives far longer.
The origins of Herbs & Spices Day are as elusive as the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices in your favorite fried nuggets.
What we DO know is that it’s been spicing up our lives worldwide since at least 2006, possibly even earlier. Some call it National Herbs & Spices Day, but why limit the fun to one (unspecified) nation when the whole world can join the fun of flavor festivities?
The important thing is, it exists!

Herbs & Spices Day, my feral friends, is your excuse to unleash your inner gourmand!

Stock your pantry like it’s Y2K all over again, with exotic elixirs and fragrant flavors.

Now, how about celebrating Herbs & Spices Day by trying a new recipe or exploring a spice you’ve never used before? Experiment with a new curry blend, whip up a fragrant chimichurri sauce, or bake a batch of cookies infused with the warm embrace of cardamom.
