The Origin of Industrial Workers of the World Day
On June 27, 1905, the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) was established in Chicago, Illinois, USA as an international awareness day to unite workers from various industries, backgrounds and races to overcome the capitalist system’s divisions.
The IWW goals are to realize fair pay and to end abusive practices.
