If you’re confused about which Judgment Day we’re celebrating on January 17th, don’t worry, you’re not alone.
There are plenty of Judgment Days, Apocalypses, and Doomsday prophecies out there, and yet here we are, still kicking. But that’s no reason not to celebrate!
Today we’re here to talk about Judgment Day ©, a holiday that might make you feel like the world is ending, but don’t worry, it’s just for fun!
Now, you might be thinking, “Wait a minute, isn’t Judgment Day supposed to be the end of the world?” And you’re not wrong, there have been plenty of doomsday predictions throughout history.
But let’s face it, the world hasn’t been consumed by fire or some other apocalyptic event on any of those days, again, so why not make a holiday out of it?

The origin of Judgment Day ©
Judgment Day © was created by the clever folks over at Wellcat Holidays, who saw an opportunity to sell more of their herb remedies by reminding people to take a good hard look in the mirror and see how they measure up to their deity’s standards.
And who can blame them? If the world is ending, we might as well try to feel better while we’re at it.
What better day to celebrate avoiding the end of the world, again, than in the middle of winter, when we’re all feeling a bit down and in need of some motivation to live in the present and take care of ourselves like there is no tomorrow.
How to prepare for Judgment Day ©
First things first, you’ll want to prepare for the worst. Stock up on non-perishable foods, water, and maybe even a few Wellcat herb remedies. But don’t go too overboard, we’re not actually trying to survive the apocalypse here. Or are we?
To prepare for Judgment Day ©, you can reflect on how you want to live your life and how you want to be judged when it comes to your actions.
Take some time to reflect on your life and your values. Maybe there’s something you’ve been meaning to change but haven’t gotten around to yet. Use this holiday as a reminder to make that change.
How to celebrate Judgment Day ©
If you’re celebrating low key, you can simply light a candle or meditate to mark the occasion.
Gather some friends and family and watch some apocalyptic movies or TV shows.
Or, if you’re feeling more festive, throw a party! Decorate with images of angels and demons, serve up some devilishly good snacks, and play some epic music to get you in the mood.
You can celebrate Judgment Day © low-key, low-effort, or full-blown party mode. For the former, you can watch a movie, meditate, talk to friends and family, or simply spend some time alone with your thoughts.
For the latter, you can get together with your loved ones and have a session or game of self reflection and ideas for self improvement while doing some festive yoga.
Then follow up with a good old-fashioned dance party. Throw on some classic tunes, dress up in your fanciest clothes, and let your inner devil come out and play.
Safety tips

While the dangers of Judgment Day © may not be quite as dire as some of the other apocalypses out there, safety should always be your top priority.
Don’t forget to take breaks if you’re doing any sedentary activities, and dance or do a few simple exercises to keep your energy up.
If you’re planning a big bash, make sure to keep an eye on your guests’ health and safety, and remember to provide plenty of food and water to keep everyone hydrated.
And, of course, keep any animals safe and secure during the festivities.
In conclusion
So go ahead, let loose and enjoy Judgment Day ©. Celebrate the fact that you’re alive and well, and that the world hasn’t ended (yet). And if anyone asks why you’re celebrating this particular holiday, just tell them Wild Calendar gave you permission to do so.
Happy Judgment Day ©!
