Today is Kiss a Ginger Day!
It’s a special holiday created by Derek Forgie to celebrate the beauty of red-headed people everywhere.
The holiday was inspired by the often-mocked ginger-haired people in Forgie’s life and the need to bring attention to their position in society.
When he heard about people “celebrating” ‘Kick a Ginger Day’ (in other words people finding an excuse to bully other people) he decided to replace this mean spirited event with an uplifting wholesome event instead.
Forgie wanted to spread the love to gingers and create a day when everyone can express their appreciation for redheads.
It’s a day to show love to those who often get made fun of, and to celebrate their unique look and personality.

🍎
Kiss a red haired person, of course consensual.

Instead of actual kissing, you can blow kisses or give cute cards or candy.
Be creative!
Ginger cats also count.

❤️
If you can’t find anyone red haired to kiss, then buy a ginger root.
Make ginger tea or put it in you food.
Because ginger is healthy!
