A Christmas treat, so very handy,

It’s a festive sight, that’s quite a delight.
Not like any candy you’ve ever seen,
It’s long and thin and curls so clean,
It’s crunchy, smooth, and melts in your mouth,
A nostalgic treat from the north to the south.
With origins in the 19th century,
This candy’s history is quite contrary,
It was a candy made for all year round,
But now it’s popular when Yuletide comes around.
